About Jennifer Mack-Watkins
Jennifer Mack-Watkins is a printmaker, teaching artist, community builder, certified educator, and creative strategist. For over a decade, Jennifer has coordinated and developed curriculum and program designs for national museums, K-12 schools, and collegiate settings in both synchronous and asynchronous learning modalities. Born South Carolina she developed her teaching practice that is informed by her experience living, learning, and working in Georgia, NewYork, and New Jersey. She cultivates a dynamic artistic learning community through peer-to-peer support, exposure to real-world experiences, and interest in global education through technology. She earned her BA in Studio Arts from Morris Brown College, MAT in Art Education from Tufts University, and MFA in printmaking from Pratt Institute. Jennifer’s institutional acquisitions include the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, Thomas J. Watson Library, Library of Congress, Zimmerli Museum, Agnes Scott College, Getty Research Institute, Newark Public Library, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Smith College, Museum Fine Arts Boston, and Clark Atlanta University.
